Young Police K-9’s to catch young offenders-An Individualized Approach To Combat Crime, Inspired By Wisdom and Driven By Necessity.

In the light of surge in candy stealing by young offenders, Police has trained young puppies to apprehend young offenders and to take away stolen candies from their pockets. The action will be taped on video and puppies themselves will take the tape and the offender to the court.

      • i got one for you. we got a new baby. she placed himself in the middle of the road and wouldn’t budge even if my cousin kept on honking at her to get out of their way. they picked her up, looked up her family and found none, then they took her home with them. she left them no choice! she practically arranged her adoption. pretty smart 😉

      • WOW! What a smart puppy. They are clever and once we notice them they take over from there. I enjoyed reading about the smart one who stood her ground and got herself adopted. What can you say to that. they are really cute and they know it. Thanks for sharing such a lovely story with me. You take care and God bless.

  21. Sadly my friend was once a victim of an unprovoked attack by a police dog. She sued and was given a big pay-out for this incident but remained anxious about dogs for years afterwards. The thing that really distressed her though, was that they put the dog down, when it was really the handlers fault, who should have been sacked instead.

    • So sorry to hear about your friend’s scary incident. These dogs are trained very well but I guess incidents can happen even under the best of conditions. The fact that the police dog was put down is a very sad fact since these are very precious dogs who undergo extensive training and are a valuable asset of the Police Force. I know your friend must be feeling sad for the dog. But she has recovered well, that’s good news. Thanks for sharing your friend’s story my friend. You take care and God bless.

      • Thank you for your response. The incident took place back when the infamous Joh Bjelke Peterson, “the Hill-Billy Dictator”, turned Queensland into his personal fiefdom and the police became one of his tools of political control. As a reward he allowed corruption to go unchecked in the police force. After Joh’s fall even the Police Commissioner Terry Lewis was jailed for corruption. A sad time for my home state and now it seems those times may be returning under the current administration..
I’ve got nothing against decent cops who do their job fair and square, but the QLD Police force was an utter disgrace back then. I recognise that policing is a hard job to do but if I may quote Orson Welles here from his movie “Touch of Evil”; -“A policemans job is not supposed to be easy. The only place where a policemans job is easy is in a police state”
I look forward to further posts on your blog.
        Peace and Love,

I believe in using dogs, for so many areas of law enforcement. I enjoyed the adorable puppies and am so proud of their being ‘volunteers’ to join the police force! Cute post, Samina! Robin
