My Vision Is Everything For Me-Since I Am A Police Officer

I am on watch, for you.

On guard, for the finest moments,

Of your life, for you.

My vision can perceive via,

The sea of curtains, and the human soul.

My cloudless vision can see,

Through your deeds,

And all before me,

Grandeur or peril, nevertheless,

I go ahead to meet regardless.

I treasure my visions,

and my aspirations,

Since, they are the epitomes of my soul.

My vision of excellence pursues,

In whatsoever my cognizance ensues.

I have a dream of a blissful tomorrow,

For you,

Protected and serene,

My vision is not a daydream.

It is as real,

As the moon, the stars, the sunrise,

And twinkle in your eyes.

I am the vision of your today,

And tomorrows to come.

My love, my spirit, and my fortification

are my gifts for you,

Oh! Yes my blessings,

 And my prayers too.

This was a lovely tribute and testimony towards the effort and heart of the police and people who serve their communities. I love the fact that the word, “epitome” was included that this meant their quest and heartfelt service was with the center and focus being others. Thank you for this, Samina! It is always good to read this blog for its wonderful and caring words shared here. I enjoyed finding out, also, through the comments, that Wendell Brown’s father was a policeman and his brother and wife are, also. Take care, Robin

    • Thank you so much Robin. Your beautiful words of encouragement always cheer up my spirits. I am glad you like my using the word “epitome”, and you are so right our protectors protect us selflessly and we are the center of their focus. I was also very glad to learn that Wendell Brown’s close family members are in the police service. No wonder he is such a great and noble poet and writer. You are such a wonderful story teller my friend, I enjoy every account very much. Take care and God bless.
