I was busy with some families who came visiting and were stranded since where they came from there was deep freeze and all flights had been cancelled. So they extended their vacation and I got busy. I am back now. Thanks for missing me and I have a lot of catching up to do. So glad to be back. Take care and God bless.

you are being missed very much! waiting for your next post! hope those in trouble are out of trouble now! is it extremely cold in Canada too? USA is freezing, Niagara falls have frozen and it looks so beautiful (dont be mad!)- so very gorgeous! so canada too must be feeling the brunt of cold. We on the other hand did not had the luck of meeting winter queen, winter is over, it will start getting hot within a week or may be two 😦
nature really is finicky this year! acting bizarre.

I have just posted the new post, it was ready but for a little bit of editing and I got so busy i could not do it. Yes Canada’s east side is in the grip of Cold freeze. Canada and the US are countries side by side of eau other so Canada has the same climate as USA intact certain areas of Canada are colder than any region in the US. Here where I live it is cold but mildly cold. we are lucky here on the West coast. Glad to be back now. I was missing you too very much my friend. Take care and God bless my lovely friend.

Loved your poetic messages, especially that we need to smile more than cry! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year, too! I just posted about the Tournament of Roses Parade and wished to share with you and your readers that they had a float ‘right up your blogging alley!’ It was called K9s 4 Cops, or Canines for Cops. The announcer emphasized the German Shepherd dog that was on the float made of flowers and kidney beans, represented service dogs. There were also real policemen walking their service dogs throughout the long parade alongside the float. What a wonderful wish that reminds us we have obligations towards others and we must fulfill them for our own self-good. My holidays have been fantastic, busy and full of fun. I totally forgot about the calorie intake and enjoyed everything with no remorse. Today I put on my skirt and the blouse that was so loose on me and I felt I was suffocating in the whole clothing. I will not go on crash diet but the process of exercise and healthy intake of food has begun. I am sure you must have had joyful and happy holidays. Take care and God bless.

Right. Even if it is not so much of an “obligation” towards others, it is just the way I would like to be, but sometimes I do not receive others with grace and kindness, not because I am TRYING to be mean — I am just distracted sometimes. I am not always focused on receiving because I am busy . . . . So paying attention and receiving with grace and kindness does help our own self-good (as you pointed out) and also is the way I want to receive people, not be distracted. 🙂
I think it is good that you will not participate in a “crash diet”, but just going back to your normal way of eating will probably help and maybe for a bit more exercise?
