A heart wrenching story of a Police Officer being shot while on duty. The story is told by his wife Isadora. We must recognize the fact that every time our protector sets out for work he puts his life on line-to serve and protect us. Let’s honor him and pray for his safety, since he has a family to look after too. Samina

“It would not be a bad notion that the next time you see a Police Officer do wave at him/her in an appreciating manner, pray for his/her well-being. And if you can fully comprehend the intensity of his/her job, and the responsibility he/she accepts of protecting you, a Salute may be in order.” Samina Iqbal

So true. Ending is happy and she has sent me her final episode of this story and I will reblog it for all my blogger friends. She is very brave and an excellent story teller. She has promised to write more of her true accounts. Yes I also loved the fact that he liked playing his Piccolo trumpet with his window open and his sense of humor he was so well known for. It is a happy ending, thank God. Thanks for your valuable input LadyBlueRose. I highly appreciate it. Take care and God bless.

This is so true, we need to remember the families and how stressful this is for them. I am sorry whenever a policeman or person serving his community or country gets shot and injured or worse, dies for us. I think it is so important to know they put their lives on the line every day! Thanks for this great message and reminder of the services given to us by these committed people!

You are so right Sharmishtha, a Police Officer’s job is very dangerous and we do feel very hurt when any one them is hurt on duty while protecting us. We must pray for their safety and security. Yes he did get well fully and the process was long. I will reblog the final chapter in this regard. Take care and God bless.

I hope he fully recovers. It’s not normal to go to work and face such danger – only some do it. Full respect.

yes Noeleen he did recover, and the recovery was miraculous and long. One must never face such dangers in his line of duty but it is so common in a Police Officers job and it is so sad. We must honor and respect them for it. I agree. Thanks for the visit my friend. Take care and God bless.
