      • Yes I agree with you this pup surely looks like a wise olde soul. Eyes look very thoughtful and as if seeing beyond. I had the same feeling when I saw a moose come close to our car while we were on vacation in Canada and he turned around and looked right in the eye. I am still haunted by that look. Thanks and you have a wonderful week.

  12. Do I notice a kind of hesitation in Samuel’s posture as he makes these demands? What is at the core of this hesitation?

    Like

    • Yes Shakti, it is his first day at the job and he is not sure if he will get enough support from his colleagues, maybe this is the reason for his hesitation. He is a very smart puppy and just testing the waters at this stage while he is still on three months probation. Ha ha ha…I like your noticing his hesitation. Thanks for your visit and your comment. I really appreciate it. Take care and have a lovely week.

    Hello, Samina,

I want to say thanks for following me at http://www.oldspouse.wordpress.com.

I’d like to add that if you enjoy my “This Old Spouse” column, I think you’ll love this:

    Or you can go here:

    http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/354657

It’s a terrifying story called The Oklo Device.

Take a look at the story; see if you get hooked on it, e-mail me at roger.white@tasb.org, and I’ll send you the rest. If you like the story, please share with others. This is the only way good things happen today–agents and publishers are of the dinosaur era. They’re slow; they’re frightened; and they’ll eat you if you’re not careful. We’re on our own. I truly believe in this book. If you do, too, share it with someone. Thank you!

And thank you so much, again, for being one of the faithful.

    Best regards,

I am sure that it is very special to have pups and dogs, they are so loving and great at their “jobs” in police, fire and other public offices! I get tears about stories and their good work, too. I enjoyed this post! I like that line about “agitation” because he looks kind of rowdy!

    • Thank you so much. I did have a talk with baby Samuel and he said that since he is a union guy and an agitator, he would suggest a cousin of his Johnny Slash for this job of protecting you on your daily jog. Johnny Slash protects the streets and will protect you, but don’t forget to take his muzzle off when you take him with you. O.K. I think from now on you are in good hands. Take care and God bless.
