Address of Commandant K-9 Police Academy Godfrey G. S. Conan Doyle III to K-9 Graduating Class of 2013

[Commandant K-9 Police Academy (Above)]

“You will be given safety shoes, like mine,  for protection against sharp objects. Canines involved in riot control will have their tails encased in a heavy-duty steel tubing for tail protection. Regardless of the weight of the tubing, they are required to keep their tails straight up. Any dog caught with his tail between his legs will be demoted to mere barking duties, of course with the tubing on.”

[Graduating K-9 Class of 2013 (Below)]

Feline inspecting the new Canine graduates is Alexandra D.W. Katherine, 5th degree Judo Instructor. From now on New Graduates will be taught Judo to fight bank robbers, pick pockets, and shop lifters.

If the Commandants seconds in command are named Holmes and Watson, I’ll have to doubt the voracity of this post… 😉

Unknowingly to the canines, the pussycat is actually a 5th degree Judo instructor.

    • Thanks Robin I am glad you enjoyed the post. And also thanks for the information about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Watson were my favorite detectives. I had somehow forgotten why the name Conan Doyle seemed familiar. You have enlightened me and now I better understand Marty’s comment. We learn from each other and I really appreciate this. Thanks so much. You too take care and have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for your good comments on my grandson’s law breaking episode, too! You know I should read all my comments in order but I accidentally read them most recent to past… That will get you sometimes, too. So, I made a mistake in my comment back to you on my blog! We have a busy week, then up to see my Mom’s. Do you have a holiday, Labor Day off? Take care, Robin

    These blessed dogs, blessed.

I loved that film K-9, it was so funny and so beautiful. That scene where the cat walks by – incredible!

    • I agree with you these dogs are amazing creatures. They are the best dependable friends of police officers. Yes the scene where the cat walks by is from the real training academy where these dogs are trained not to get distracted by anything when performing their duties. You must have seen that these dogs can walk through a crowd and focus only where the police officer points out. Such is their discipline, which is incredible. Thanks for dropping by and for such a nice comment my friend. See you soon. Take care and God bless.

I agree with you it would be nice to have a squad of one’s own with such obedient and skillful dogs as in the picture. So nice of you to visit me. Thanks my friend and have a lovely weekend.

  13. Love the shoes. A pretty fierce looking dog to be wearing something that closely resembles ballet flats. I bet no one gives him guff for it though. 😉

    • The contrast between the shoes and the personality of the dog was something that fascinated me about this photo. You are right who can give him guff for it 🙂 Thanks for liking the post and a wonderful comment. Take care and have a lovely day my friend.

  14. Good one Samina but I wouldn’t want to have to walk in his shoes although he is very vocal, no doubt telling us all about his tale.

So good that a cat has nine lives Hmmmm I must have another look and count those dogs… opps! I forgot she knows Judo, I hope there is more then nine!

    • Thank you so much for such a beautiful comment. And yes no doubt he is very vocal, just looking at his open mouth can scare off anyone. The cat surely has no worry and will live more than nine lives since she is a judo expert. I am glad you liked the humor. Thanks so much for the visit and such lovely comments. See you soon. God bless and you take care my friend.

  16. hello there! sorry, i just can’t help myself, i was hearing NCIS’ very special agent Tony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) voice as i was reading the commandant’s address 🙂

as for the feline officer, i’m sure the word got around that nobody should mess around with the judo master 😉 and i bet they’re all ears during training. i wonder if could i sit in on one ? great post!

    Like

    • and i mean to just sit and watch them doing the exercises. pretty please 🙂

    • Hi xristinamaria. I am happy you enjoyed the post.Commandant’s personality is compelling and your comparison is superb. He does sound like Tony DiNozzo indeed. LOL Yes you guessed it right the class of 2013 found out about the Judo skills of the feline officer. Two cadets who tried to approach her got her judo chops and they were stunned, after that the incident got out and you can see the disciplined class not moving at all when she is inspecting them. As far as you wanting to sit down to watch them do judo exercises is concerned it is fine with me, but you will have to ask the permission of the commandant. If you can muster the courage of asking him, go ahead my friend. You have my blessings. Good luck. Take care and God bless.
