The police have a very difficult job and I try to always let them know how much I appreciate what they do. It must be so difficult to always be looking for the bad. I like seeing a patrolman helping someone change a tire or something like that, rather than having to arrest or ticket someone.

You are so right we like to see them helping people which they do all the time but the nature of their job is such that in order to keep law and order they have to do the difficult job of arresting people. All we can do is show appreciation to our protectors, say thank you, and offer them our deepest honor and respect. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Take care Janet.

It is very sad. Royal Canadian mounted police is a very noble police they do so much that we take their efforts for granted. Sharmishtha, you will be pleased to know my efforts are showing some progress and I think on an individual scale one can keep trying. Great movements have small beginnings. I applaud your efforts in this regard. You are enlightening people about the issues of your society which touch you deeply. Kudos to you.
